The Lake Annecy is constituted by pure water coming from the Alps' glaciers, which has maintained its purity for thousands of years. Considered as one of the purest Lake in the world, its Water is precious. It is for this reason that two passionate brothers decided to settle their brewery on this exceptional site located between lake and mountains. It is at that moment that they created the Brasseurs Savoyards.
It is harnessing this pure water coming from the Alps that enables them to produce such high quality beers. To this purity, they only add malts and hops produced by organic farming. This combination of carefully chosen raw materials gives their beers an unrivalled flavour.
Combining this careful selection of raw materials with age-old production techniques and with their passion for beer lead them to perpetuate the Upper Savoy brewing history. Their quality beers require time. They need to be left to mature in storage vats for several weeks. It will help these exceptional beers acquire a balanced taste and subtle aromas.
The Brasseurs Savoyards that have made quality the main characteristic of their brand are nowadays the brewery market leader in Upper Savoy.

A COMMITMENT TO QUALITY AND AN ECO-FRIENDLY APPROACH
The question may be asked: what is an organic beer ? Does it taste better ?
An organic beer is first and foremost the traceability of all selected raw materials. From the field to the bottle, all the transformation processes undergone by the raw materials are monitored and checked by certified organic organisations.
Producing organic products is about ensuring that none of the cereals and hops that we use have been chemically treated, meaning no chemicals or pesticides trace will be found in our products. Our cereals are produced in French organic farms and are then malted by a highly reputed malt-house in Belgium.
It also guarantees that there are no additives, no preservatives or any other antioxidant in our products. How to be sure about this ? It is ensured by a certified organic organisation that sends our products to independent laboratories in order for them to be analysed. Finally, following organic requirements are about reducing our waste and emissions. The cleaning products we use have a much weaker impact on the environment than the ones which are traditionally used and our cereals residues are given to a local farmer to help him feed his cattle.
